Borrowing Information
To borrow materials from this library you need a Penn Yan Public Library card or a Keuka College ID.
To get a Penn Yan Public Library card you need an ID with your name and current address, such as a driver's license, or proof that you have received mail at your current address.
If you are 6-16 years old, you need a parent or guardian with ID with you to sign your application.
Any Penn Yan Public Library card allows the holder to borrow any materials.
Replacement cards cost $1.
Most materials have a 3 week loan period and may be renewed one time.
DVDs and Videos have a 1 week loan period and are not renewable.
An item with a reserve may not be renewed.
The library limits the number of items that may be checked out. The limits are:
Books: 50
Books Plus or Storytime Kits: 1
Flannelboards: 10
Magazines: 10
Music CDs & Audio Books (cassette or CD): 5
Videotapes or DVDs: 5
