Picture Books-
· Picture Books are books, both fiction and nonfiction, to read aloud to children.
· Big Books are oversize. Some titles include resources to use in conjunction with the story.
· Board Books are titles that are printed on a stiff board paper for the very young
· Easy Tinys are undersized books, including the famous Beatrix Potter series.
· Books with cd's or cassette are titles that come with an audio version of the tale.
Beginning Readers-
Easy Readers are simple books with pictures and simple text in a large font.
Juvenile Easy Readers are longer than the Easy Readers. There are more words and fewer pictures per page.
Juvenile Books-
Juvenile books are longer chapter books with more involved storylines.
Juvenile Oversize books are longer picture books meant for juvenile aged readers.
Juvenile magazines include titles for both boys and girls.
New Books, both fiction and nonfiction titles, are found on display.
Young Adult Collection-
· Young Adult books have storylines interesting to a teen audience.
· Graphic Novels are a growing collection. They are books in a comic book format.
· Young Adult Magazines cover a number of different topics.
· New Books, fiction and nonfiction, are on display.
